A week-long Art exhibition on Dealing with SPACES begins at the Dhaka Art Center on Sunday, November 23, 2014.
The department of Architecture (ARC) at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) has organized the exhibition which will continue till Saturday, November 29, 2014.
UAP Vice Chancellor Professor Jamilur Reza Choudhury inaugurated the programme on the very first day while Artist Wakilur Rahman and Architect Masrur Mamun were present, among others.
Speaking at the occasion, UAP VC said, the exhibition would help the fresher’s to know the real content of Architecture. But sensitivity is the most important things of the Architect.
Later, VC also thanked the all students for participating in the event. Architecture can be defined as the art of creating spaces. Basing on the craft of technicality, architects Architecture try to solve the difficult conundrum of culture, time and context through the sensitive understanding of spaces which is ironically often overlooked by the onlookers as well as by many within the very realm of the profession.
Mentionable, students of design studio ii and ARC department of UAP are being participated in the week-long event.
