GIZ in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC) and European Union (EU) once again brings to you the workshop on Small Traders Capacity Building: Market Access, Voluntary Standards and Access to Finance!
This workshop in 2014 is the third initiative taken by the Promotion of Social and Environmental Standards in the Industry (PSES), a joint project of the governments of Bangladesh and Germany, implemented by GIZ on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
This 3-day training focuses on small businesses this year and will provide:
· Access to Finance – How to present your company and how to improve your chances of accessing finance
· Practical session: How to develop a “pitch” for accessing finance
· Introduction to Market Analysis Tools: Harmonised System, Identifying a Target Market
· Presentation of Trade Map: analysis of world demand for a specific product, reviewing trade indicators
And many other practical, real life ITC Marketing tools for exploring export market and financial resources to take an organization to the next level!
We have a team of not one but three new trainers this year, starting with Mr. Oliver Von Hagen of ITC Geneva who has over 10 years of experience in international trade, promotion and development.
In pursuit of this goal, I am pleased to invite you to team up with us to build on the success of our inaugural 2014 event and make the media coverage of this interactive workshop on the 3rd of June 2014, at the GIZ Office Conference Hall.
