A Content Management System (CMS) is a computer application that allows publishing; editing and modifying content, organizing, deleting as well as maintenance from a central interface. Such systems of content management provide procedures to manage workflow in a collaborative environment.
As a part of Digital World 2015, Developers from around the country gathered at Bangabandhu International Conference Center to attend CMS Developers Conference on February 10, 2015, Tuesday. The conference was geared towards skill building for mobile app developers, web developers and software engineers.
The event focused on the current CMS practices in Bangladesh and what future and challenges that it holds. Sessions emphasized on WordPress and Joomla, two of the most popular CMS tools used by the developers. A number of educational topics was shared over the conference; ranging from the usual best-sellers like “How to become a good WordPress developer” to essentials like “Drag & Drop Feature in Joomla”.
The work of any developer sometimes result into isolation while working at home. Sajid Islam, CEO of hubdhaka shared the benefits of coworking and how hubdhaka is revolutionizing the way people work in Bangladesh. Other topics covering the introduction of CMS, framework, success stories was shared from industry experts who are passionate about CMS.
More than 1200 developers participated in the conference whose eager participation made the sessions lively and highly engaging. At the end of the day, the networking session helped participating developers and engineers to make constructive connections and inspirational disruptions!
