Bangladesh is going to be the first country of the world to have the National CSR Policy for Children. The Ministry of Labour and Employment has already formulated the draft of the policy with the technical support of Save the Children.
Now the ministry and Save the Children are organising a national consultation on the ‘Draft National CSR Policy for Children’ in Dhaka on February 19, 2015 (Thursday) to share the draft policy with key stakeholders at the national level and get their feedback and make the final draft.
Mr. Md. Mujibul Haque, Honourable State Minister for Labour and Employment, will speak at the programme as the chief guest while Mr. Mikhail Shipar, Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, will chair it. Some special guests from different sectors will also participate in the programme.
High government officials, representatives from donor agencies, UN bodies, NGOs and INGOs, corporate entities, formal and informal sectors, civil society, trade unions, trade bodies, mass media, other stakeholders and academia will join the consultation.
