The full text of the message in given below:
”It is a matter of great concern and worry that 27 people were killed and 277 were wounded when a suicide bomber attacked a mosque in Kuwait City on 26 June. We express our deep condolences and sympathies to the victims who were killed or injured due to the suicide bomb attack. What is more shocking and alarming is that this happened in the holy month of Ramadan, the month of rahmat and forgiveness. While denouncing the cowardly attacks in the strongest form, we express our solidarity with the brotherly people and the Government of the State of Kuwait during their time of difficulty and pray that they will be successful in overcoming this tragedy.
At this point, I would like to stress that any such terrorist activity is a blow against peace, humanity and all religious values. I take this opportunity to reiterate that Bangladesh denounces terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and reaffirm that our Government has been following and will follow a “zero tolerance” policy towards terrorism. I express my Government’s firm determination to continue to work together with the State of Kuwait and the world community to fight against terrorism.
I wish you good health, long life and happiness and the brotherly people of Kuwait continued peace, progress and prosperity.”
