Bangladesh Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister arrives in Riyadh

Hon’ble Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment of the Government of Bangladesh His Excellency Engineer Khandker Mosharraf Hossain, MP, arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh today to have a bilateral meeting with H.E. Engr. Adel bin Muhammad Fakeih, Hon’ble Minister of Labour of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Bangladesh Minister was received by the Deputy Minister for International Affairs, Ministry of Labour of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Alfahaid, Director for International Cooperation Directorate of Ministry of Labour of Saudi Arabia HRH Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badar Al Saud, Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia H.E. Mr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Consul General of Bangladesh in Jeddah Mr. A K M Shahidul Karim, and other Saudi high officials and officials of the Embassy. The Hon’ble Minister of Bangladesh was taken to the Riyadh Conference Palace as the Royal Guest of the Saudi Government.

The Hon’ble Bangladesh Minister is leading a 7-member delegation including Mr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Senior Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office; Mr. Khandaker Md. Iftekhar Haider, Secretary, Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment; Begum Shamsun Nahar, Director General, Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training, and other high officials of the Government of Bangladesh.
Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister of Bangladesh will hold bilateral meeting with his Saudi counterpart at the Ministry of Labour in Riyadh tomorrow. Bangladesh Minister will also attend a reception hosted in honour of him by the expatriate Bangladesh community at the evening on 19 January 2015.
