Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited opened its 1st service center at Maniknagar, Dhaka on March 18, 2015. Engr. Mustafa Anwar, Acting Chairman of the Bank inaugurated the center as chief guest. Muhammad Abul Bashar, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Shafiqul Islam, Executive Vice President & Head of Local Office and Dr. Muhammad Kamaluddin Jasim, Senior Vice President & Head of Business Promotion and Marketing Division along with local elites were present on the occasion.
Customers can avail banking services including deposit and withdrawal of cash through ATM & IDM round the clock, checque and pay order collection, utility bill payment, account opening, balance inquiry and statement, internet banking service, standing instruction, check requisition and investment related information in this service center.
Engr. Mustafa Anwar as chief guest said, Islami Banks wants to reach banking services to the doorsteps of the people through this service center. Considering the benefit of the customers the bank has taken initiative to open service centers across the country. Unbanked people will be brought under banking services by this service center.
He said that Islami Bank has been working for developing socio economic situation of the country and living standard of the people through its three decade financial services. He called upon all to play role in the national progress by availing IBBL services.
