It is known to you all that PROGGA announced Tobacco Control Investigative Journalism Fellowship-2015, with support from Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids (CTFK) and Bloomberg Philanthropies. The fellowship for 2015 aims at exposing Tobacco Industry’s ill tactics applied entrapping farmers for tobacco farming and interferences to resist effective tobacco taxation to impede TC drives in Bangladesh.
Following a significant number of requests from ATMA members, PROGGA has extended the application submission schedule of Tobacco Control Investigative Journalism Fellowship-2015 up to 20 February, 2015.
The fellowship aims at intensification of existing tobacco control advocacies (e.g. law amendment and tobacco taxation) by unveiling tobacco company’s interferences to halt tobacco control movement in Bangladesh.
Last few years Progga is successfully arranged this type fellowships and investigative journalism award — mostly known as Tobacco Control Media Award. Anti Tobacco Media Alliance (ATMA) is also cooperating this unique initiative of the tobacco control effort in Bangladesh.
