Dhaka FM is an online radio station in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The journey of Dhaka Radio started in 2009 with a vision of good entertainment services. On 1st Boishakh, that means on Pohela Boishakh, (Bengali first month), this first radio internet radio station was launched. They run 20 hour live programs.
They organized their program schedule with innovative items. Their most popular shows are ‘Ondhokarer Golpo’, ‘FM Dosti’, ‘Akash Chowyar Golpo’ and ‘Valo Bashar Bangladesh’, ‘Atom therapy’, ‘Vul shob e vul’ etc. The listeners wait eagerly for their favorite shows. To listen to it is a fascinating experience for the listeners.
They meet up the entertainment and information need of the listeners by promoting music, local cultures, cults and happenings. Along with humorous arrangement, they communicate with shooting, simple and friendly Bengali words.
In 2010, it was first to get the license of Private FM Radio amongst the 2nd phage FM license awarded by the Government. It has almost 1,753,437 likes on its official Facebook Page.
