Radio Today is the first ever 24 hour radio station in Bangladesh. It is a private radio. It is a concern of Radio Broadcasting FM (Bangladesh) Co. Ltd. It first went on air in 2006 in Dhaka. Now it has expanded coverage to in Dhaka, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Khulna, Bogra, Sylhet, Mymensingh and Barishal. This popular started the FM radio sensation which is at present one feature of digital Bangladesh.
It started with a frequency at 89.6 FM. It is mainly a music radio. Triumph over to both MASS & CLASS, the one and only actually live station of Bangladesh which is different from all other Channels. Radio Today broadcasts can now be heard round the clock, round the country.
As it is a music radio, plays popular Bangladeshi music. Music programs like Todday’s Classic, Morning Express, OMG, FM Mama, Boom Box, Thursday Night Saga, Pap – Reality Drama, Society – Comedy Drama, Movie Masti, HOT FM, Radio Gaan Buzz, Ek Diner RJ, Better Health Better Life and Picchi Kotha including other special programs. Also provides news updates five times a day. Program named ‘Dhakar Chaka’ gives live traffic updates.
