The Daily Star is the leading English-language newspaper of Bangladesh. It is the largest circulating newspaper apprising the immediate breaking news that includes political, business, entertainment, sports, lifestyle and crime news. It was founded by Syed Mohammed Ali on 14^th January, 1991. It is a concern of ‘Transcom Group’. Mahfuz Anam, a freedom fighter and former United Nations official is the respectable Editor and Publisher of this daily newspaper.
