The Daily Naya Diganta is a popular political Bengali Newspaper. This newspaper is very popular among the Muslims community. Beside that it has huge reader from the Islamic political party Jaamat-e-Islam. It founded in 2004.

Its founder and editor is Alamgir Mahiuddin and Executive Editor is Salahuddin Babar. Beside that Naya Diganta’s Senior Assistant Editor (Editorial Chief) is Masud Majumder, News Editor is Masumur Rahman Khalily, Editional News Editor is Muhammad Baker Hossain, National Desk Editor Muhammad Saiful Islam, Joint News Editor is Kazi Hafizur Rahman, Assistant News Editor Ahmed Motiur Rahman and Muhammad Khairul Bashar, Chief Reporter Touhidul Islam and Feature in-charge is Ahmed Shahbuddin.

As of May 2014, the circulation of Daily Naya Diganta is around 2,00,000, though as per Bangladesh Government this is only 65,000! It’s head-office is at Motijheel, Dhaka. The physical address is 167/2-E, Inner Circular Road (Eden Complex).

The daily has two popular weeklies named as Therapy (magazine editor: Sohel Atol) and Abokash (magazine editor: Shah Muhammod Moshahid). According to Alexa.com Daily Naya Diganta is in Number is 48 in Bangladesh, Global ranking is 12,998.

It was intoruduced at a price of BDT 5.00, which was later raised to BDT 6.00 and then BDT 8.00 & now BDT 10. Dainik Naya Diganta is very popular from the very beginning. Specially it took the readership from Daily Inquilab and Daily Dinkal. Moreover, while Diganta TV, Islamic TV and The Daily Amar Desh was stopped by the government, from that time this Daily got more popularity.
