Guernsey is a small country where the number of media outlets is constricted. There is only one daily newspaper published in Guernsey known as Guernsey Press and Star. It was first published in 1813 and was known as Guernsey Star, but later it was purchased by the Guernsey Evening Press and hence got the name Guernsey Press and Star.
At a survey from 2010 to 2011, the paper is published six days a week, i.e. Monday to Saturday and has a circulation of 15,165 on average. It also has a web portal known as guernsey.com where editorial content appears online.
Guernsey has one FM radio station, one AM radio station, and one television station. There are two Internet service providers.
