Resalat is one of the conservative daily newspaper in Iran. Mohammad-Kazem Anbarlouei, an Iranian conservative politician and journalist was editor-in-chief of the right-wing newspaper. Anbarlouei is a senior member of the Islamic Coalition Party and held office as head of its political bureau. Morteza Nabavi is the current editor-in-chief of the daily.

 

It is also said that Resalat is pro-Khamenei and pro-Ahmadinejad newspaper though the paper belongs to the Resalat Foundation. 

Resalat was founded in 1985.  The language of the Tehran based newspaper is Persian. The Persian word Resalat means the “Prophecy”. The main focus of the daily is domestic politics of Iran. They publishes different stories, views and op-eds on the politics. However they serve cultural, social, economic and sports news. Their circulation ranged between 30,000 and 50,000 copies in the mid-2000s. In recent years the circulation follows the previous ratio.

In its mission statement, Resalat declares that “The goal of the daily is to spread the words of God, and Ahl al-Bayt (Shia) school of thought in order to establish the God’s will and governance of Fiqh and Vilayat-e Faqih.”

The newspaper has online version. Alexa Traffic Rank shows that the global rank of the paper is 2,33,532 and rank in Iran is 7,157.

The readers are mostly from Iran, 90%. However some readers from Bulgaria and Pakistan browse the online version of the Right-Wing paper the Resalat.
