1st Home Fest Dhaka 2015 Kicks Off Today. The Home Fest Dhaka-2015, first ever expo on home décor in the country, started on Friday at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) at Bashundhara area in the capital.

Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBBCCI) President Abdul Matlub Ahmad inaugurated the two day event organized by Windmill Advertising Ltd.

On Friday morning while veteran artist Professor Hashem Khan was guest of honour at the inauguration ceremony at GulNakhsha hall at ICCB on Friday morning.

Reazuddin Mosharaf, Managing Director, Windmill Group; Sabbir Rahman Tanim, CEO of Windmill Advertising Ltd; Firoz Ahmed Khan, Head of Retail banking, BRAC Bank Ltd.; Aftab Mahmud Khurshid, CMO of Super Star Group (SSG); A.K.M Sadeque Newaz, General Manager, Marketing, Berger Paints Bangladesh; Mohammad Abdur Rouf, COO of BRAC-Aarong & AAF; Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman, Director, Amber Group; K. M. Rifatuzzaman, Managing Director, Akter Group and Misha Mahjabeen, National sales manager, Tupperware were also present at the Launching Ceremony.

There are 17 model rooms exhibited with latest touches of interior design in three categories. Fourteen young interior designers, who are selected through a panel of five expert judges in interior designing, have designed the models of bed rooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, kid’s room and bath room. The top designers will be awarded worth of Tk 3 lakh.

BRAC Bank, Super Star Group, Arong, Berger Paints Bangladesh, Amber Group, Akhtar Furniture and Tupperware are participating as the event partners. Visitors get opportunities to experience all the brands with special offers under one roof here at the exposition. The expo gate will open for all from morning 10 AM to night 8PM during the fair of November 6 and 7.

Regarding the Home Fest Dhaka-2015, Windmill Advertising Chief Executive Officer Sabbir Rahman Tanim said “Every individual has a dream to decorate their home and surroundings. To bring out all service providers related to interior design, we organised the expo.”
